CHRIST IS PRESENT IN FAITH
To make available an academic and practically applicable theological education founded in the Scriptures. To do this, the Luther Academy cooperates with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia, as well as other churches and stakeholders around the world.
The basis of the Luther Academy Logo is the Luther Rose - a central feature also of the historical Luther Academy logo. Above the Luther Rose is a Rooster. The background of the Luther Rose is formed by two Crossed Keys. Together the Rooster and Crossed Keys symbolize the city of Riga, where the Luther Academy is located. Separately, the Rooster stands for the beginning of the Reformation in the Baltics in St. Peter's Church in Riga. On their own, the Crossed Keys are a symbol of the Office of the Keys of the Church. The Luther Rose has the words 'Lutera' and 'Akadēmija', which are Latvian for 'Luther' and 'Academy', written on the left and right of it respectively.
In Accordance with Luther's own notes, the Luther Rose cross is black, the heart of the Rose is dark red, the Rose petals are white, the Rose sepals are in green, the background is in dark blue, and the rim is golden.
